Angela Stubbs is the founder of The Pause Project, a space dedicated to helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate self-compassion through simple, everyday practices. Her approach centers on intuition and mindful awareness, guiding people to notice the signals their bodies send and to respond with care. Angela believes that pausing isn’t just something we do in a meditation class—it’s a way of moving through life with presence and intention.

Her studies at Naropa University, a leader in contemplative education, deepened her understanding of mindfulness and how awareness can transform the way we live. Alongside her background in community engagement and wellness education, Angela has developed practices and conversations that encourage people to see their wellness as an ongoing project rather than a destination. She combines practical tools with intuitive guidance, helping individuals integrate moments of pause into their daily routines, relationships, and work.

Angela created The Pause Project out of her own journey of learning when to slow down and listen inward. As someone who has navigated the challenges of balancing work, creativity, and personal wellness, she knows firsthand how powerful it can be to reclaim space for rest and reflection. Through this work, her goal is to support others in finding their rhythm, honoring their needs, and bringing more compassion and balance into their lives.
